For over 33 years WCES has engaged in education, outreach, and activism to improve the quality of life in Watertown and in the world. Our new name, Watertown Citizens for Peace, Justice and the Environment, along with our new logo, reflect our belief that peace, justice, and a sustainable environment are intimately connected. Please join us for our Annual Meeting and Potluck Dinner on Sunday, May 6 at 5:30 PM at the Auditorium of The Apartments at Coolidge School, 319 Arlington Street.  The program will feature “Pray the Devil Back To Hell,” an award-winning documentary film about Liberian women’s use of nonviolence to end Liberia’s 14-year civil war, and a discussion led by Janet Johnson, a Liberian journalist featured in the film.
