Alzheimer program open to the public
Watertown, MA (July 31, 2012) – The Alzheimer's Association, Massachusetts/New Hampshire Chapter, is hosting an art presentation for people with early-stage Alzheimer’s disease or a related dementia at its headquarters at 480 Pleasant Street in Watertown, MA. Art Matters: Norman Rockwell will take place Thursday, September 13th, from 10:30 AM-12:00 PM. This event includes a presentation and discussion of the Rockwell’s works.

This event is part of a new Summer Social Program being offered to people in the early stages of Alzheimer's disease and related dementia. The Summer Social Program will encompass a wide range of activities, including a river walk, programs on music and art, an ice cream social, and yoga. Planned activities start the last week of July, and continue through late September. All events are free, but pre-registration is required.
