elmont Savings Bank will sponsor the Third Annual Joint Elementary PTO Skating Party in Watertown this Thursday, March 15, from 1-3pm. The party will be held at John A. Ryan Arena on Pleasant Street (1 Paramount Place).
For the third year in a row, the PTOs at Cunniff Elementary School, Lowell Elementary School and Hosmer Elementary School will be partnering to put on the skating party for the children and parents of Watertown. Belmont Savings Bank will be on hand to present hot chocolate andpopcorn to attendees of the event.

“Many of our customers are parents with children in the Watertown school system, so we welcome the chance to participate in the annual skating party at JA Ryan Arena,” said Bob Mahoney, President and CEO of Belmont Savings Bank. “The skating party allows us to support fun, family-friendly events in the community, and we look forward to seeing everyone!”
Parents are also encouraged to participate in the Belmont Savings Facebook Blue Tongue contest going on during the party. Belmont Savings Bank blue lollipops will be handed out,and parents are encouraged to take a picture of their child’s tongue – or their own tongue – and post to Belmont Savings Bank’s Facebook page. The photo with the most “Likes” will win the participant a $100 gift card. In addition, the Bank will also offer a Free Camera Giveaway for parents.

During the event, 200 passbooks with a $50 free initial deposit will be handed out to parents in the arena, along with information about Watertown Education Rewards Checking, a “best-in-market” checking account that also supports a special curriculum fund for Watertown’s public school system.
