On Tuesday, November 29, Paul Goldenberg, the primary researcher of Think Math, will be hosting Building Math Strategies With Your Child at the Cunniff School from 7:00-8:00 pm.
Parents of students in grades K-5 are invited to attend. Mr. Goldenberg will define the rationale for building strategy strength which supports students in becoming true problem solvers.
Think Math is the core program used to teach math in grades K-5 District-wide. Think Math builds computational fluency as students investigate new ideas and solve meaningful problems which put skills and strategies to work. Our teachers encourage students to practice a variety of skills and strategies so that they will be able to find solutions to problems without relying on the rote memorization of basic facts.
