The second annual Townwide Spelling Bee, which is sponsored by the Watertown Education Foundation, runs from noon to 5 p.m. in the Watertown Middle School auditorium.
Students compete in teams of three, and members of the winning team receive trophies.
The spelling bee raises money for the Watertown Education Foundation. Last year the event raised $9,000.
