The Arsenal Center for the Arts presents Outdoors at the Arsenal, its first summer of free, outdoor music, art and theatre performances, workshops and demos, all sponsored by athenahealth.

A Boston native and Berklee College grad (2011), singer/songwriter Shea Rose has been named the “artist most likely to make an impact on the national stage” by the Boston Globe. This two-time Artist of the Year winner at the Boston Music Awards has produced the “Rock ‘n Rose” EP and the “Little Warrior” mixtape, both showcasing her range and versatility with songs. The Boston Herald says “Shea Rose has created her own niche…a blend of hip-hop, R&B, jazz, funk and rock that leaves her virtually peerless in the urban-music world.” More: http://www.shearose.com/music/
Notable performances and honors include the SESAC Award for collaboration on the Grammy-Winning Jazz Album, The Mosaic Project; featured artist and fan-driven contest winner at the 2012 SXSW Red Bull Soundstage/Universal Music Group showcase; and a performance alongside Gladys Knight and Take 6 at Boston’s Steppin’ Out Gala for the Dimock Center.
