JAZZ @ The Arsenal presents a night of fiery gypsy jazz standards and originals with the Rhythm Future Quartet, Monday, November 17, at 7:30PM at the Arsenal Center for the Arts in Watertown.
Describing RFQ’s appearance last year in Maine, the Saco River Theatre exclaimed: ”Collective jaws dropped at the sheer virtuosity of The Rhythm Future Quartet! The group’s stellar musicianship, good humor and reverence for this important musical tradition made for an unforgettable evening.”

Named after a Django Reinhardt tune, the group performs dynamic arrangements of Gypsy jazz standards and original compositions. The quartet features Jason Anick on violin, Olli Soikkeli and Vinny Raniolo on guitars, and Greg Loughman on bass. Over the years they have individually performed with such notables as John Jorgenson, Frank Vignola, Tommy Emmanuel, Bucky Pizzarelli, Andreas Öberg and Howard Alden.
