Former Gov. Dukakis Met with Watertown Student Journalists

The 1988 Democratic Presidential nominee spoke with Watertown students about the 2012 elections recently.

 

Former Massachusetts governor and 1988 Democratic Presidential nominee Michael Dukakis met with four student journalists from Watertown recently to talk about Mitt Romney and Barack Obama as well as senate candidates Scott Brown and Elizabeth Warren.

Currently teaching at Northeastern University, Dukakis shared his views on a variety of issues, including education, public transportation, immigration and health care with the Watertown students. The interview appeared this week in the Watertown Splash, 's student newspaper.

He also talked about why he believes that Mitt Romney is having trouble gaining support in the state where he was governor, and how he thinks Elizabeth Warren can beat Scott Brown in the senate race.
