Gandolf is a gentle girl who came to us as a pregnant stray. Her babies have now all been adopted, so now it’s her turn to find a forever home. Gandolf, who is about two-years old, is a nice mix of playful and affectionate. She loves attention from people and is a quiet, easy-going cat. She also seems to do fine with the other cats at the shelter, so she might be fine living with another cat. Gandolf was in a foster home with children and did well with them.
If you are interested in meeting Gandolf or any of the cats at The Ellen M. Gifford Cat Shelter, visit our website (www.giffordcatshelter.org). While you’re there, you can fill out an online adoption application for Gandolf and learn more about our shelter. You can also call us at 617-787-8872. We are the oldest cageless no-kill cat shelter in the country, and we’re located right here in Brighton!
The mission of Gifford Cat Shelter is to take in homeless cats, provide them with high quality care in a cageless and no-kill environment, and find healthy and loving permanent homes for them. It was the first cageless shelter in the country and has been in existence since 1884.
