Hammond Real Estate in Belmont Exhibits Works by Artist Joanne Holtje

Exhibit and opening reception are free and open to the public

Belmont, Mass. (October 19, 2015) – Tod Beaty, manager of Hammond Real Estate’s Belmont office located at 84 Leonard Street, is pleased to announce that the office is currently exhibiting works by local artist Joanne Holtje through December 30, 2015. A free and open to the public reception will take place on Wednesday, November 4 from 6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m., at which time the artist will be available to discuss her works which are available for purchase.

Joanne Holtje spent her childhood exploring the woods, fields, and riverbanks of her hometown, Concord, Massachusetts. She received a Bachelor of Arts from Tufts University, and after a brief West Coast adventure, returned to make the Bay State her home.

For the past nine years, Joanne has exhibited in local, regional, and national shows including the Massachusetts Artists Biennial, the Fitchburg Art Museum, and the Danforth Museum. Her work appears in the book “Creating Abstract Art” by Dean Nimmer.

Joanne continues her art-making in Western Massachusetts, and she is a member of Oxbow Gallery, Northampton.
