Homeless Woman Arrested for Assaulting Watertown Police Officer

A man wanted his grand daughter removed from his house, and the woman would not go without causing problems.

Police were called to Quirk Street because a man wanted a homeless woman removed from the house on June 6 at 4:23 p.m., and she would not go quietly.

When police arrived they found that the man's grand daughter was at the home, but he wanted her removed, said Watertown Police Lt. Michael Lawn.

"He did not want her there," Lawn said.

Officers discovered the woman was wanted on two arrest warrants so they attempted to arrest her, Lawn said.

"She was extremely uncooperative with the officers," Lawn said. "She spit on one of the officers."

Police arrested Kimmarie J. McFadden, 43, a homeless woman, was arrested on two warrants from Brighton District Court – one for larceny and one for fraud – and for assault and battery on a police officer, Lawn said.
