ICYMI: Watertown PD to Hold Active Shooter Training for Civilians
A.L.I.C.E is a program designed to respond to a shooting at a school.

WATERTOWN, MA – Police in Watertown will host a civilian class this spring on responding to an active shooter situation.
The class is based off the A.L.I.C.E model – Alert, Lockdown, Inform, Counter, Evacuate – for responding to a school shooter and coincides with the Department of Homeland Security's "Run, Hide, Fight" method. The training will take place Wednesday, April 12 from 6:30-9:30 p.m. at the Watertown Police Department Community Room.
"The WPD wants to bring these basic concepts to the public so these strategies can be better utilized in a life-threatening situation," according to the Watertown Police Department.
