Internship Opportunity: Summer at the State House
Students could spend the summer interning at State Senator Will Brownsberger's office.
WATERTOWN, MA - Watertown college students and teens could work in a state government office this summer.
State Senator Will Brownsberger is offering up to four internships in his state house office for the summer term of 2016.
The opportunity is open to undergraduate college students and to high school students who will have completed their sophomore year. Students must be permanent residents within Brownsberger’s district, which includes Watertown.

Interns are asked for a time commitment of between eight and 10 hours per week for at least five weeks.
“Legislative internships offer students a wide variety of experiences including issue research, constituent service, legislative work and budget tracking. Daily seminars on different aspects of state government are scheduled by the Senate,” according to the internship announcement.

Interviews will take place in March and applicants will be notified of their status by April 8.
The application deadline is Friday, March 4, 2016.
