Kindergarten Registration Running March 7 to 11 in Watertown

From Monday, March 7 through Friday, March 11, parents of incoming kindergartners can register with the Watertown Public Schools.

If your child will be five years of age by Sept. 7, 2011, he/she is eligible to attend kindergarten Please register your child at the school he/she will be attending

Cunniff School

Monday   9 a.m. – 11 a.m.   

Tuesday  6 a.m. – 8 p.m.

Wednesday  1 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Thursday  10 a.m.– 12 p.m.            

Lowell School

Tuesday   7:30 a.m. – 10 a.m.

Wednesday  2 p.m. – 4 p.m.

Thursday  7:30 a.m. – 10 a.m., 6 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.

Hosmer School 

1 Concord Road, 617-926-7740

Monday through Friday 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Tuesday evening 6 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.

Parents are encouraged to have registration packets completed  (packets can be picked up at your child’s school or downloaded from the Watertown Public Schools website, http://www.watertown.k12.ma.us. Select your neighborhood school at the top of the page. On the right hand side, select Registration Forms

Registration requires your attendance in person and should take about 45 minutes.

The following documentation is required at registration:

1. Copy of Birth Certificate
2. Proof of Residency - 2 forms are needed; one must be a gas/electric bill.
3. Copy of Child’s Immunization dates and recent physica (This needs to be from a U.S. physician)

* Failure to provide the above documentation may delay your child’s start of school.
