'Last Roll Call' for Watertown Officer Robert Kelly

Kelly retired Tuesday after 33 years as a Watertown police officer.

WATERTOWN, MA – Watertown police officer Robert Kelly saw his "last roll call" Tuesday. Kelly retired from the force after 33 years with the Watertown Police Department.

Kelly worked a 4 p.m. to midnight shift on his last day, and presumably is most looking forward to a normal sleep schedule. During his time with the department, he served as a dispatcher, dog officer, traffic officer, arson investigator and night shift patrolman.

In addition to being the Watertown Police Department's jack-of-all-trades, Kelly also served as a Watertown firefighter. He has worked for the Town of Watertown for close to 38 years.
