Lisa K. Nichols Promoted to Senior Vice President, Operations at Watertown Savings Bank

Watertown Savings Bank (WSB) President Brett Dean is pleased to announce that Lisa K. Nichols has been promoted to Senior Vice President.

WATERTOWN, February 2016- Watertown Savings Bank (WSB) President Brett Dean is pleased to announce that Lisa K. Nichols has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Operations.

“Lisa has worked for WSB for 32 years, which in and of itself warrants attention,” Dean said. “Beyond longevity, Lisa is an extraordinarily hard working colleague who cares greatly about the Bank. I have seen her effort, passion, and care first-hand.”

“In the 145 year history of WSB, we have had six Senior Vice Presidents. Clearly, it is an important role and a major achievement that reflects many accomplishments.”

Nichols oversees the Bank’s Operations, BSA, and Customer Support departments. She is also the Bank’s liaison with Fiserv, WSB’s core processor. In this role, Nichols serves on several committees including: Fiserv Cleartouch Strategic Planning Council since 2009; Fiserv Source Capture Council since 2014; and the American Bankers Association Payment Systems Committee since 2013.

Nichols earned the Special Recognition Award in 2007 from the Watertown-Belmont Chamber of Commerce (WBCC), where she served on the Women in Business Committee for six years, and was chairperson for four years. She also co-captained WSB’s very successful Relay for Life Team for four years. Nichols was also named Corporator of Watertown Savings Bank in 2012.

Nichols earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition from Simmons College and graduated with honors from the New England School for Financial Studies. Originally from Watertown, Nichols currently resides with her husband and family in Millis.

Watertown Savings Bank is a $1.1 billion independent, mutual savings bank headquartered in Watertown Square. There are nine locations serving Arlington, Belmont, Lexington, Newton, Waltham, and Watertown.
