Man Arrested for Attempting to Break into Homes on Francis Street
Residents saw the Cambridge man looking at houses, and he tried to get into the back door of a home before being caught.

Residents on Francis Street spotted a man walking up and down driveways around midnight on Nov. 12, and then saw him go to the back porch of a home and peer in a window, said Watertown Police Lt. Michael Lawn.
Police arrived when the man, identified as Bruce Edward Burke C. Bedugnis of Cambridge, was still in the area.
"When he saw police, he took off running," Lawn said. "They stopped him, and when they talked to him he gave conflicting statements about why he was there."
