Man Arrested for Stealing Pickup Truck from Watertown Home

The truck was taken from a driveway on Pleasant Street.

State Police caught a man wanted for stealing a pickup truck from the driveway of Watertown home.

The owner of a 2009 Chevy Silverado came out on the morning of Dec. 19 at 9:02 a.m. and discovered his pickup was gone, said Watertown Police Lt. Michael Lawn. 

"He came out in the morning and it was gone," Lawn said. "He believes he may have dropped his keys in the driveway."

The truck was reported stolen, and on Dec. 20 at 12:59 a.m. the State Police stopped the Silverado on Rte. 2 in Harvard, Lawn said.

The man driving the truck was arrested, and will be charged in connection to the theft of the vehicle, Lawn said.
