The 27-year-old Watertown man was allegedly seen driving erratically, and refused to speak with police.

A Watertown police officers had to jump out of the way of a car when a man, who was allegedly driving while drunk, drove up on the curb to get his SUV into his driveway, said Police Sgt. Thomas Grady.
On July 5 at 1:24 a.m., Cambridge Police alerted Watertown Police that a man driving erratically was heading into town on Mt. Auburn Street.
Watertown Police determined the vehicle belonged to Allan K. Nkoba, 27, of 12 Willow Park in Watertown, using the plates of the Jeep Liberty. When officers arrived at the home, the SUV drove up, Grady said.

Nkoba then got out of the car, but continued to ignore the officer, Grady said.
“The officer had to stop him, and when she did she detected a strong odor of alcohol,” Grady said.
Nkoba refused to take field sobriety tests, Grady said, but police determined from the way he was driving that he was intoxicated.
Police placed Nkoba under arrest on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol and marked lanes violation, Grady said.
