Mount Auburn Hospital's Annual "Party of the Year!" Saturday, November 1st featuring Five-Time Grammy Nominee Michael Feinstein!

Mingle, Bid, and Enjoy Live Entertainment at the Hospital's Premier Fundraising Event to take place at the Seaport Hotel

Plans are now well underway for Mount Auburn Hospital’s annual “Party of the Year!” to be held on Saturday, November 1st at the Seaport Hotel. Funds raised for the hospital from this yearly event are used in many areas to initiate and enhance programs that serve patients and their families. Guests can mix and mingle, bid on auction items, and enjoy great live entertainment. This year’s featured performer is the multi-platinum-selling, five-time Grammy-nominated recording artist Michael Feinstein!

Michael Feinstein is a two-time Emmy and five-time Grammy Award-nominated entertainer who has been dubbed “The Ambassador of the Great American Songbook.” He is considered one of the premier interpreters of American standards. Performing over 200times a year, Michael Feinstein’s shows have included concerts at Carnegie Hall, the Sydney Opera House and the Hollywood Bowl as well as the White House and Buckingham Palace. Mr. Feinstein and his quartet are sure to “wow” the crowd gathered to celebrate and support the hospital on November 1st.

Last year’s “Party of the Year!” was the hospital’s most successful fundraiser to date. Through the generous participation and support of the Mount Auburn community, contributions totaled nearly $500,000. This year, the 2014 Planning Committee includes Kija Kim, Lisa Gordon, Joyce Tibbetts, Donna Smerlas, Theresa DiLando, and Gail Roberts, all working tirelessly to ensure another successful event.
