New Hampshire Man Killed in Newton Pedestrian Crash
Accident happened Sunday Morning on Nonantum Road.
A 22-year-old man was killed Sunday morning when he was struck by a vehicle on Nonantum Road, according to State Police.
The victim, identified as Dennis Cassagrande, 22, of Rochester, N.H., was transported to Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Boston where he was pronounced, according to State Police. The victim lived in Rochester, New Hampshire.
The incident happened around 3:18 a.m. when State Police responded to an accident on Nonantum Road near Charlesbank Road. A 21-year-old Mendon man was driving the 1999 Ford pickup that struck the victim. The driver was not injured.

State Police Collision Anaylsis and Reconstruction teams and Crime Scene Services are investigating the crash.
