NewRep Theatre Will Bring 'Rent' to the Arsenal Center for the Arts in September
The musical hits the stage of the Charles Mosesian Theater on Sept. 4.

The Tony Award-winning musical "Rent" is coming to Watertown's Arsenal Center for the Arts in September.
The New Repertory Theatre kicks off the fall season with the Jonathan Larson play which tells the story of a group of struggling bohemian artists living in New York City’s Lower East Side.
The play will be directed by Benjamin Evett with musical direction by Todd C. Gordon and choreography by Kelli Edwards. Rent will feature New Rep favorites Aimee Doherty as Maureen, Eve Kagan as Mimi and Maurice E. Parent as Tom Collins.

The ground-breaking and powerful rock opera, based on Puccini’s La Boheme, explores the necessity of love and friendship, and the repercussions of living with AIDS in modern day society.
New Rep will bring the classic musical to the Arsenal Center for the Arts, with iconic songs like “La Vie Boheme,” "What You Own," and "Seasons of Love."
