Newton Man Arrested After Crashing Stolen Car Into Porch of a Watertown Home
The man tried to flee the scene, but was discovered in some nearby bushes.

A Newton man faces a slew of charges after he drove a stolen car into a porch of a Broadway Street home, said Watertown Police Lt. Michael Lawn.
Police received a call about a car driving into a house late on the evening of April 28. When they arrived they found a heavily damaged 2011 Audi, but no driver, Lawn said.
“They located an individual hiding in the bushes on Russell Avenue,” Lawn said. “He was unconscious.”

As they investigated the car, police discovered it was stolen and that State Police were looking for a suspect in a hit and run accident with another car on Soldiers Field Road in Brighton, Lawn said.
Ronald Boire, 42, of 5 Clinton St. Apt. 1 in Newton, was arrested on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol – a second offense, driving with a revoked license, leaving the scene of an accident with property damage and receiving stolen property, Lawn said.
