Pine Village Preschool Celebrates the Opening of Their Brighton Location in the Charlesview Complex

Pine Village Preschool (mybilingualpreschool.com), a Spanish immersion preschool with 8 locations around greater Boston, celebrated the opening of their new Brighton location on Western Ave in the Charlesview Complex on the night of October 15th with nearly 100 guests. Families and friends, including State Representative Kevin Honan and Boston City Councilor Mark Ciommo, gathered in the school’s colorful and engaging classrooms for fun and entertainment.

The celebration included a ribbon cutting ceremony, entertainment by Musica con Jacie, food by La Casa de Pedro in Watertown and a piñata for the kids. The new Pine Village location was chosen to replace their current Brighton location, due to the development of the surrounding area. The new location is across Soldiers Field Road from Artesani playground and water park, plus an expansive green space that borders the Charles River – right at the finish line for Head of the Charles. It is also just down the road from Smith Playground and playing fields, as well as the future new site of the Harvard Science complex in Allston.

“We’re very excited to celebrate the grand opening of our Brighton location,” says Emma LaVecchia, co-founder of Pine Village. “The facility is high-quality and was designed specifically for preschoolers including lots of light, sinks in every classroom, and specially-designed kid-size bathrooms accessible directly from the classrooms. We also have an onsite, fenced in green space/playground adjacent to the school itself.”
