Police Searching for CVS Cigarette Thief

Man has struck twice at the Main Street CVS Pharmacy.

A cigarette thief struck the CVS Pharmacy on Main Street for the second time on Nov. 27 at 1:15 a.m., said Police Lt. Michael Lawn, but this time the store's security camera caught an image of the cig stealer.

The man, described as a white male with brown hair, between ages 20 and 30, first struck on Nov. 10. He went up to the counter and asked for a box of cigarettes, and when the cashier brought it to him he asked where the newspapers are located. Lawn said the newpaper rack is near the door, and the man picked up the cigarettes, walked toward the rack, but then walked out the door with the cigarettes.

He used the same scam the second time, too, Lawn said.
