Police Warn Watertown Residents After Second Break-in of Home Where People were Sleeping
Police warn Watertown residents to lock their doors and windows at night after a second such crime in two weeks.

For the second time in two weeks, a Watertown resident woke up to find an intruder in her bedroom in the middle of the night, prompting Watertown Police to warn people to be cautious.
On May 29 at 4:07 a.m., a woman woke up in the bedroom of her Brookline Street home to see a tall figure standing near her bed, said Watertown Police Lt. Michael Lawn.
“The figure was dressed in all black, and was 4 feet from her bed, touching things on a small table in the room,” Lawn said. “She thought it was her husband, and she said something. The man turned and quickly left the house.”
