Residents Can Buy a Brick at Victory Field and Help Fund the Renovation

The Recreation Department sent out the following announcement:

The Town of Watertown is renovating Victory Field. The improvements will include artificial turf, lighting, scoreboards, baseball bleachers, dugouts, bullpens, and a batting cage. The renovation project is designed to support baseball, field hockey, football, lacrosse, and soccer as well as give many other opportunities for use by the members of our community.

To assist in the financial support of this endeavor, the Victory Field Renovation Committee is offering this opportunity to honor a person, family, team or occasion with a personal message engraved on a brick. The brick will be placed in the entry way and/or patio area of the new Victory Field for future
generations to admire.

Your tax-deductible donation will help make our renovation project come true!

How to order your brick or make a donation: There are two easy methods available, online or mail orders. Either way you choose, your orders are welcome and greatly appreciated.

Order or donate online: Please visit www.victoryfieldgoal.com to order your brick or make a donation using an online payment by check or credit card.

Order by mail: If you decide to purchase your brick or make a donation by mail, please follow the directions below and utilize the form provided:

1. Record your message on the back of this form. Please note: Print clearly, as a copy will be set exactly as written. Use all capital letters. Spaces and hyphens are considered characters. Bricks will be placed randomly throughout the walkway and patio area. We cannot guarantee special positioning. Two or more bricks may be purchased and installed. Grouping must be ordered at the same time.
2. Calculate the total price of the bricks and make checks payable to the “Town of Watertown” and write “Victory Field Donation”. Please do not send cash.
3. Fill in your name, address, phone number and email address in case verification of engraving is needed.
4. Return this form and donation to: Watertown Recreation Department in care of the Victory Renovation Fund, 149 Main Street, Watertown, Massachusetts 02472-4478

All orders will be confirmed with a special certificate for you to check for accuracy and then frame or present as a gift.
