Six Hospitalized After Carbon Monoxide Leak in Watertown: Reports
High levels of carbon monoxide were reported at 10 Riverside St.

WATERTOWN, MA – A carbon monoxide leak in Watertown sent six to the hospital Wednesday night, according to reports.
The Boston Globe reported that residents of 10 Riverside St. reported a strange odor around 7:30 p.m. Watertown Deputy Fire Chief Rob Iannetta told the Globe that firefighters arrived to carbon monoxide at 90 parts per million on the ground floor; normal levels are typically less than 3 parts per million.
According to the Watertown News, the cause of the leak was a faulty oil burner, but the alarms did not go off.

Six people were taken to Massachusetts General Hospital with symptoms consistent with carbon monoxide exposure; residents were allowed to return to the building around 9:30 p.m., according to reports.
