RethinkPlastic is a new citizen group. Our goal in Watertown is to reduce pollution and waste from single-use plastic items such as bags, bottles, and styrofoam food containers and trays.
Over the past 12 months, we've reached out to citizens and businesses, large and small, and researched outcomes from other cities, states, and countries that have enacted measures to reduce plastic waste. We'd like to tell you what we've learned and have a frank discussion about how Watertown can reduce pollution and waste.
