Students Can Brush Up On Their Writing Skills This Summer

Watertown Middle School is hosting the course which is open to open to students from Watertown and beyond.

Sure, it’s summer and students are off doing something fun, likely involving sunshine and lots of running.

There are alternatives to playing outside — a new writing course being offered to area students.

Watertown Middle School will host a new one-week writing course in August to help students boost their non-fiction writing skills, according to John Vitti who supervises both the Cunniff and Watertown Middle School student newspapers. Lessons learned could help students with their academic work, he said in an announcement. There is open to Watertown students as well as students form surrounding towns.
