Come on over to the Watertown Farmers Market at the Arsenal on the Charles on October 16 to join the folks from ReThink Plastic in sewing old t-shirts into reusable shopping bags. Repurpose your old shirts for shopping bags & help reduce the waste from plastic and paper grocery bags. Sewing machines will be humming and markers and buttons will be available to further customize your bags. If you don’t have any bags on hand, plenty will be available on site. Workshop runs from 3-7pm.
