Target Employee Attacks a Co-Worker, Sending the Man to Hospital
The Dorchester man faces charges of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

A Dorchester man allegedly punched and kicked a co-worker at Target on Nov. 20 at 9:38 a.m., sending him to the hospital. He faces assault charges, said Watertown Police Lt. Michael Lawn.
The two men had an argument in the storage area at Target, Lawn said, and a man identified as Kevintz Merisier allegedly attacked the other man.
“Merisier sucker punched the man — who hit his head on a beam — and he continued to kick and punch him while he is on the floor,” Lawn said.

The victim went to Mount Auburn Hospital, Lawn said, and Merisier ran away from the store. He was known to frequent Cambridge, and Watertown Police alerted authorities in Cambridge. He was arrested later, Lawn said.
Merisier, 26, of 70 Ames Way Apt. 70H in Cambridge, was arrested on a charge of assault and batter with a dangerous weapon — a shod foot, Lawn said.
