Three Watertown Students Selected as Winners in Photo Contest
The Watertown Savings Bank chose three Watertown students as winners of the Annual High School Photo Contest.
Watertown Savings Bank sent out the following announcement:
Watertown High School senior Natalie Singer has won first place, and a $500 Zeff Photo gift card, in Watertown Savings Bank’s Annual High School Photo Contest. Her photo entitled Birch Trees in Winter will appear with the month of January in the bank’s 2012 calendar.
Twelve winning photos were chosen, and will comprise WSB’s 2012 calendar, available to bank customers in December. A reception honoring all student winners was held June 13 at the bank’s Waverley Square branch, 30 Church Street, Belmont.

Katherine Nazemi, a Watertown resident and sophomore at the Winsor School in Boston, was awarded third place, for her photo Town Diner in Watertown. It will accompany July in the calendar. She received a $200 Zeff Photo gift card. And WHS junior Parisa Zarringhalam won an honorable mention and a $100 Zeff Photo gift card, for her photo Charles River, which will appear with April in the bank’s calendar.
The students’ photos will be on display from June 13-27 at the Waverley Square branch.

The exhibit will then be moved for viewing at several other branch locations:
- June 28-July 11 - Arlington Branch, 980 Mass. Ave.
- July 12-25 - Warrendale Branch, 739 Main Street, Watertown
- July 26-August 8 - Waltham Branch, 6 Lexington Street
- August 9-22 - Lexington Branch, 1075 Waltham Street
