Two Cases of Stolen Wallets in Watertown
Woman left wallet on the counter at Gap; car broken into in a parking garage.

A security camera caught a woman take a wallet left on the counter of the Gap, and in a separate incident a burglar broke into a car and stole a wallet and a laptop, said Police Lt. Michael Lawn.
On Feb. 6 at 5 p.m., a woman reported to police that someone stole her wallet, which was left at the Gap Outlet in the Arsenal Mall.
"Store security checked the video and observed a Hispanic female pick up the wallet and leave the store," Lawn said.

The suspect is described as 5-foot-6, heavyset, and wearing heavy-framed black glasses, Lawn said.
A woman who parked her 2010 Toyota Prius in a parking garage at Arsenal on the Charles on Feb. 1 came back to find someone had broken into her car.

"She discovered the driver's side rear window was smashed and missing was a wallet and a laptop computer," Lawn said. "She discovered her credit card had been used in Cambridge."
