The recording artist will play with the Boston Symphony Orchestra, but first he came to Watertown to a concert at his alma mater.
Blues singer Ellis Hall travels the world playing music, and he has performed with people like Ray Charles, Stevie Wonder and Dave Matthews.
This weekend, he will play two dates with the Boston Pops, but before that he made sure to stop in at his old school - Perkins School for the Blind.
He graduated from the school in 1970, met his wife Sue there and honed his singing and music schools at the Watertown-based school.
