The man said he was curious and walked into an open rear door. He was spotted by a janitor.

An 18-year-old Waltham man allegedly snuck into Watertown High School on the evening of June 29, wandered around and used the bathroom before leaving the building, said Police Sgt. Thomas Grady.
The man was spotted, by a janitor, walking out of the principal’s office before leaving the building at about 8:14 p.m. The janitor called police and described the man as wearing a gray T-shirt and black shorts.
Police found a man matching the description walking on Catherine Street near Victory Field, Grady said.
