Watertown Child Care Center Suspended After Baby's Death
Officials have revoked Strawberry Childcare's license following the death of a 5-month-old girl earlier this month.

WATERTOWN, MA – A Watertown child care center has been suspended following the death of an infant in its care earlier this month. The State Department of Early Education and Care revoked Strawberry Childcare's operating license Monday, alleging employees did not give the baby CPR.
A 5-month-old girl was found unresponsive at the facility Sept. 13. She was taken to Newton-Wellesley Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
According to WCVB, early education officials said in a letter that Strawberry Childcare "placed infants and children at risk by failing to administer CPR during an infant's medical emergency. The center can appeal its suspension.
