Watertown Girls Softball is Fun By Delanie Lombard and Emma Fallon

When many people think about spring sports they imagine

baseball but softball should also be on their minds. First, you

should know the teams in U10 softball. U 10 is for ages 8-10 the

teams are the Wildcats, Lady Reds, Crushers, and the Sprites.

These are all amazing softball teams that have been playing

outstanding games all season.

We asked some softball players about the season so far. Kara (4th

grade) said she is on the Lady Reds and her favorite position is 1st

base. “Softball is important to me because if everyone went out

there with no practice everyone would STINK.”

We also asked Iona (5th grade). Her team is the U11 Panthers. She also likes 1st base. Her

coaches are Dan and Doug. Softball is enjoyed by many Watertown girls this season. Come cheer

on the teams!
