Watertown Man Arrested in Connection to Robbery Commited Last Week
When police came to arrest the man, he was spotted in a vehicle and was arrested on an additional breaking and entering charge.

Watertown Police arrested a man wanted in connection to a robbery that occurred last week on Maple Street, and collected an additional charge when police came to arrest him.
Police got an arrest warrant for Bruce Owen Demelo, 36, of 39 Clinton St. in Watertown, said Watertown Police Lt. Michael Lawn. Last week, a Maple Street resident told police he had two laptop computers and some personal items stolen from his apartment and he suspected Demelo had taken the items.
Demelo was charged with receiving stolen property and larceny of items worth more than $250,, Lawn said.

Police discovered he was saying on Lexington Street, and when they arrived, officers saw Demelo in a car with the light on. When they approached he said that he was there to get items out of a friend’s car, but the friend said he did not let him in the car.
Police charged him with misdemeanor breaking and entering of a motor vehicle, Lawn said.

Demelo also had two arrest warrants in his name: one out of Charlestown District Court for larceny and using a false check, and one from Brighton District Court for larceny, using a false check and receiving stolen property, Lawn said.
