Watertown Native Will Lead New State-of-the-Art Senior Living Community
Sylvia Clark named Executive Director of the new Residence at Watertown Square set to open November 2014

LCB Senior Living, LLC (www.lcbseniorliving.com), owner and operator of The Residence at Watertown Square (www.residencewatertown.com) on Summer Street in Watertown, Massachusetts, is pleased to announce the selection of Sylvia Clark as the community’s Executive Director. Ms. Clark is a highly-qualified and well-respected eldercare professional with years of experience.
The community, which is currently under construction and set to open in early November, offers Independent, Assisted and Reflections Memory Care to local seniors. It’s location near to Boston, Cambridge and other Greater Boston communities will offer residents a cosmopolitan experience near to culture, restaurants and social resources.
Ms. Clark has extensive experience in all facets of the senior living industry, including assisted living and Alzheimer’s programs. For the past four years she served as the Executive Director of Atria Senior Living in Quincy and prior to that she was the Director of Child & Family Services at Project Hope in Boston. Currently, Clark is the President of the Board of Directors of For Kids Afterschool, Inc. and an Advisory Board Member of the International Institute of New England (Boston).

Ms. Clark commented, “I am thrilled to lead this incredible new community. Its construction and design are first-rate. The Residence at Watertown Square will include 90 Independent Living residents at the community will have their own apartment with a kitchenette and bath, along with the peace of mind of 24-hour security, three nutritious meals prepared and served restaurant style on-site, fitness center, available laundry and cleaning services, garage parking, a full activities program, building and grounds maintenance, and a host of optional services. Assisted Living residents will have all of the above, along with assistance with the activities of daily living, including dressing, bathing medication reminders, and other services.
The community will also include LCB’s Reflections Memory Care services for residents with Alzheimer ’s disease and other memory impairments. In addition to offering sophisticated cognitive programming and a range of daily services, Reflections is a secure, safe environment with its own common areas, walking courtyard, and other amenities.
The Residence at Watertown Square Holding Open Houses
Open Houses every Tuesday from 4-7pm, Thursday from 1-4pm and Saturdays from 10am-3pm through Columbus Day Weekend will give people the opportunity to drop in, take a tour and learn about our many services and amenities and make a deposit if they would like to call our community home. There are different apartment options available from studio and one bedroom apartments with full kitchenettes and some of the largest square footage in the area. The community offers wide-ranging amenities and enriching programming aimed at providing the residents the freedom to life as they choose, in the area they know and love. All apartments are available on a monthly rental basis.
