Watertown Overnight Parking Ban Lifted

A sure sign that spring is here.

WATERTOWN, MA – Watertown police will not be enforcing the overnight parking ban as of Thursday, March 29, according to a department announcement. During the winter months, vehicles are prohibited from any public way for more than one hour between 1 a.m. and 6 a.m.

Police still ask drivers to make sure of off-street parking when available, as keeping the streets clear allows for repairs, street cleaning and easy access for public safety vehicles.
