Police are warning residents of a recent scam in town.

WATERTOWN, MA – The Watertown Police Department is warning of a phone scam in town. Police said they received a report of someone making calls soliciting money for the department.
The Watertown Police Department is not asking for money and warns residents to not give money to anyone over the phone without verification. Contact Watertown police for help or additional questions.
***SCAM ALERT*** we received a report that someone is making calls soliciting money for the WPD. This is a scam & not accurate. Do not give $ over the phone to anyone w/o verification. As always...call us for help or questions.
