Watertown Police Arrest Pair for Stealing Packages off Porches in Belmont

A Watertown man and a Waltham woman face charges of stealing packages off porches in Belmont, and Watertown Police Lt. Michael Lawn said they are suspects in similar crimes in Watertown.
On Oct. 5 at 7:01 a.m., Watertown Police arrested Jason M. Iannazzi, 32, of 77 Everrett Ave. in Watertown, and Jackie Z. Acevedo, 22, of 215 Beal Road in Waltham, on behalf of Belmont Police.
"They had an arrest warrant from Cambridge District Court for stealing packages off doorsteps in Belmont," Lawn said. "Further investigation discovered they were responsible for similar crimes on Fayette Street. They will be charged (by Watertown Police) with receiving stolen property."

Iannazzi and Acevedo each face charges of receiving stolen property and larceny for the alleged crimes in Belmont, Lawn said.
