Watertown Police Bust Massage Parlor Prostitution Scheme

WATERTOWN, MA — Four men were arrested in Watertown massage parlors and are facing charges related to sexual conduct for a fee. The Watertown Police Department was conducting a sweep of massage parlors in town to ensure they were complying with regulation and checking for human trafficking. Officials said there were no signs of human trafficking.

The arrests came on Friday when police collaborated with the FBI Boston Division Child-Exploitation Human Trafficking task force to conduct a sweep of massage parlors in Watertown. Six massage parlors were inspected in total:

• Season Therapy- 12 Belmont Street
• Siam Thai Spa- 161 Galen Street
• Sunrise Massage- 60 North Beacon Street
• Sukhothai- 8 Riverside Street
• Nuu Spa- 2 Mount Auburn Street
• Orange Tree- 220 Waverly Ave

Of the four men arrested, two were from Massachusetts, one was from Pennsylvania and one was from New York. The men are identified as:

• Worarat Soontronwatee- Age 30, of Maleden, MA. Arrested at Season Therapy.
• Sandy Ferchiou- Age 51, of Boston, MA. Arrested at Sukhothai.
• Jifen Zou- Age 46, of Arlington, PA. Arrested at Nuu Spa.
• Xulan Zhang- Age 38, of Flushing NY. Arrested at Orange Tree.
