Two shoplifters arrested at Marshall's and two cars stolen only to turn up undamaged.

Arrests
Police arrested two women caught shoplifting at Marshall’s in the Arsenal Mall on Feb. 1 at 6:20 p.m. Store security told police that they spotted two women shoplifting items, said Police Lt. Michael Lawn. The women were identified as Chantel C. Henderson, 20, of 552 Mass. Ave. Apt. B in Boston; and Kamyra L. Walker, 20, of 320 Talbot Ave. Apt. 1 in Dorchester. Henderson reportedly put items into a bag held by Walker.
When detained, police found that Walker also had clothing from Aerospostale without a receipt, as well as a bottle of alcohol. Henderson was charged with shoplifting by concealment, a second offense. Walker faces charges of shoplifting by asportation, receiving stolen property worth less than $250 and possession of liquor by someone under age 21.

Police responded to a report of a disturbance on Landon Avenue on Feb. 3 at 9:23 a.m. Ruth A. Serijan, 64, of 94 Langdon Ave. in Watertown was arrested on a charge of domestic assault and battery, Lawn said.
A domestic disturbance on School Street was reported on Feb. 4 at 12:27 a.m. Police arrested George Kandaras, 32, of 387 School St. in Watertown, was arrested on a charge of domestic assault and battery, Lawn said.

In the early hours of Feb. 5, an officer parked on Belmont Street the driver of a white Subaru Legacy make an abrupt stop at a traffic light, and noticed the car’s lights were not on. The officer followed the car, for about a quarter mile and the driver was swerving back and forth, and continued to drive without the headlights on, Lawn said. The driver was stopped on Commonwealth Road, and an odor of alcohol was detected. A field sobriety test was given and Christopher J Dangel, 42, of 3 Chesterfield Road in Milton, was arrested on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol and driving at night without headlights.
Incidents
The owner of a 2001 Chevy sport utility vehicle reported that his vehicle was taken when he was picking up food at Victor’s Diner on North Beacon Street on Feb. 1 at 9:16 a.m. He told police that he left the car running and went in for 5 minutes to pick up an order, Lawn said. When he returned the SUV was gone. Later that day, it was recovered undamaged on Geneva Avenue in Boston.
On Feb. 1, a woman reported that she dropped her wallet at the Arsenal Mall around 1 p.m. Mall security found the wallet near the second floor restrooms, Lawn said, and $700 in cash was missing.
While looking for cars parked on the street during the emergency parking ban on Feb. 2 at 2:20 a.m., an officer found a 1995 Ford Crown on Nichols Avenue that had been reported stolen from Chelsea, Lawn said.
A woman told police her car was broken into while she was visiting a friend on Fayette Street on Feb. 3, Lawn said. She parked the car in the driveway at 7:45 p.m. She drove home at about 10:30 p.m. discovered the rear passenger-side window of her 2002 Honda Accord had been smashed and someone had taken a laptop computer in a laptop bag.
A resident called police to report that someone had stolen a cast iron sink worth $600 from a garage on Franklin Street, Lawn said. No sign of forces entry was found and the resident suspected the sink was stolen between Jan. 13 and Jan. 23.
Vandals struck a house on Harrington Street on Feb. 5, Lawn said. The homeowner found that someone had sprayed ketchup on the house and thrown eggs at car. Also, broken beer bottles were placed under the tires of the car.
A Dunkin' Donuts employee started her car to warm it up just before the end of her shift on Feb. 5 and when she returned, her Dodge Grand Caravan was gone, Lawn said. She left the van unlocked and running and within five minutes it was gone. The van was found undamaged later that day on Mt. Auburn Street in Cambridge.
