Watertown Police Log: July 25 to July 31
Woman sees someone trying to break into her house, Panera manager arrested for taking deposits and car stolen from Irma Avenue.
The following arrest information was supplied by the Watertown Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.
Arrests
July 27, 3:29 a.m.: Police responded to a report of a single-car accident on Warren Street, and when they arrived they found a Honda Accord up that had crashed into a stone wall, Lawn said. Police talked to the driver and detected an odor of alcohol on his breath, so they gave him field sobriety tests. Raphael O. Cunha, 32, of 126 Tolman St. in Newton, was arrested on a charge of driving under the influence of alcohol – a second offense, and driving with a suspended license.

July 27, 1:27 p.m.: Police investigating eight missing deposits totaling $8,207.79 from the Watertown location of got an arrest warrant for a woman who was the manager of location at the time, Lawn said. Police went to the offices of Panera in Watertown and arrested Maryanne Bruning, 46, of 1575 Commonwealth Ave. Apt. 5 in Boston, on a warrant for larceny of more than $250.
July 27, 7:07 p.m.: An officer on patrol ran a plate of a Chevy Trail Blazer and found that the registration was suspended because of lack of insurance, Lawn said. Aleksandr Mangoyan, 26, of 19 Walcott Road in Watertown was arrested on charges of driving with a suspended license and driving an uninsured vehicle.

July 28, 4:48 p.m.: An officer on a roadwork detail spotted a driver who he knew had warrants out for his arrest, Lawn said. The officer knew the man was staying on Chapman Street and he found the car there. Vincent G. Gennari, 32, of 144 Spring St. in Cambridge, was arrested on four warrants.
July 29, 1:56 a.m.: Police went to Crawford Street when a disturbance was reported. They discovered that one of the residents had an arrest warrant, Lawn said. Teddy W. Haas, 33, of 1 Crawford St. Apt. 2 in Watertown, was arrested on a probation warrant out of Brookline District Court.
July 29, 2:28 p.m.: Police spotted a woman who they knew had a suspended license driving eastbound on Main Street at Waverley Avenue, Lawn said. An officer tried to stop her, but she kept going. She finally pulled over in Watertown Square. Robin M. Russo, 55, of 24 Whites Avenue Apt. 13 in Watertown, was arrested on charges of driving with a revoked license and failing to stop for police.
July 31, 1:06 a.m.: An officer on patrol on Mt. Auburn Street spotted a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee with an expired registration. When the officer spoke to the driver an odor of alcohol was detected, so field sobriety tests were given to the driver, Lawn said. Christopher M. Reilly, 25, of 200 Sherman St. Apt. 2 in Cambridge, was arrested on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol and driving an unregistered vehicle.
Incidents
July 25, 6:28 p.m.: The owner of a 2011 Chevy Malibu reported that someone entered her unlocked car while it was parked on Morton Street and took a Flip Phone, a Garmin GPS device, two pairs of sunglasses, a Fastlane pass and a black purse with credit cards and ID inside, Lawn said. Someone used one of the credit cards at CVS and charged $131. Police are investigating.
July 26, 6:32 p.m.: A 2002 Dodge pickup was broken into on Arlington Street and a GPS device, a passport, an international driver’s license and $32 in cash were taken, Lawn said. The pick-up had been parked in the driveway and left unlocked.
July 26, 11:26 p.m.: A 1993 Mercedes was stolen from Irma Avenue, Lawn said. The car was locked at the time. Police are investigating.
July 28, 3:52 p.m.: Workers at on Galen Street came in and found that someone had taken a laptop computer and a cell phone from one desk and a Blackberry cell phone from another, Lawn said.
July 30, 3 p.m.: A man parked his Plymouth Voyager at and when he came back he found someone had broken into minivan and stole $2,000 worth of plumbing tools, Lawn said.
July 30, 11:19 p.m.: A Beacon Park resident heard something at her window and when she looked she saw a pair of hands trying to push the window open from the outside, Lawn said. She screamed and called 911. Police searched the area but could not find a suspect. They continue to investigate the incident
