Watertown Police Log: July 4 to July 10
Woman arrested twice in two days, wallet with $560 inside stolen from laundromat and a car may have been stolen from parking lot.

July 6, 12:36 p.m.: Two people were arrested when police were called to a domestic disturbance on Clarendon Street, Police Sgt. Thomas Grady said. Wesley Lima Assis, 28, of 24 Clarendon St. in Watertown, was arrested on a charge of domestic assault and battery. Tamam Abdalla, 26, of 8 Todd Lane in Lynnfield, was arrested on a charge of domestic assault and battery and malicious destruction of property worth less than $250.
July 9, 5:06 p.m. and July 10, 5:59 p.m.: A Watertown woman was arrested twice in two days by Watertown Police, Grady said. Employees at Target called police when a woman was causing problems. When officers tried to remove the woman she spat at an officer and was “carrying on,” Grady said. The store took out a trespassing prevention order against the woman. The next day, she returned to Target to try to return an item and was told she was trespassing. Police came again and removed her. Robin M. Russo, 55, of 24 Whites Ave. Apt. 13 in Watertown, was arrested on charges of trespassing, disorderly conduct and assault and battery on a police officer on July 9, and trespassing on July 10.

Incidents
July 7, 11:02 p.m.: A bike hanging in the garage of a house on Carver Road East was taken, Grady said. The missing bike is a Giant-brand red mountain bike.
July 8, 12:34 p.m.: A Fayette Street resident said her mail was taken from her mail box while she was away, Grady said. The mail included a rent check. The Watertown Main Post Office is looking into the missing mail.
July 9, 1:28 p.m.: A woman doing laundry at West End Laundrymat on Main Street put her husband’s wallet aside while she did the wash. After chatting with another woman, she turned around to find that the wallet was gone, Grady said. The wallet contained personal papers, debit cards and $560 in cash.
July 9, 5 p.m.: A man parked his 2003 Buick LeSabre at the parking lot at Harvard Vanguard on Arsenal Street. He was visiting a resident of the apartments next door and when he returned his car was gone, Grady said. Police said it is possible the car was repossessed because the man said he was behind on his payments.
