Watertown Police Log: Nov. 21 to Nov. 27
Couple finds burglar in their apartment, a car is stolen and $15,000 in jewelry is missing.

Nov. 27, 2:30 p.m.: Police responded to a domestic disturbance on Sycamore Street, said Watertown Police Lt. Michael Lawn. Paul G. Cote Jr., 29, of 8 Gill Road in Watertown was arrested on a charge of domestic assault and battery.

Incidents
Nov. 21, 12:08 p.m.: The rear door of Pure Italian LLC’s warehouse on Bridge Street was forced open, Lawn said. A cordless drill with attachments and some Allen wrenches were stolen, worth a total of $249.
Nov. 22, 5:53 a.m.: A couple returned home to their penthouse apartment at 10 Williams St. and found a man in their living room, Lawn said. The man ran out a sliding door and down a stairwell in the rear of the building. The man was described as a white male, 5-foot-5, thin build and dressed in black. Nothing appeared to be missing, and a search of the area could not locate the suspect, Lawn said.
Nov. 23, 9:55 a.m.: Someone kicked in the metal door of a shed and stole a bicycle from Sasaki Associates on Pleasant Street, Lawn said. The dark blue, 21-speed Klein road bike was reportedly worth $1,000.
Nov. 25, 1:24 p.m.: A California Street resident told police that she was missing a number of pieces of jewelry, reportedly worth $15,000, Lawn said. There were no signs of forced entry. Police are investigating.
Nov. 26, 8:22 a.m.: A Loomis Avenue resident heard a bang and discovered a 2-inch hole in a screen, and found a small piece of asphalt, Lawn said.
Nov. 26, 10:09 p.m.: A kitchen window was broken at a Quincy Street home, and a rock was found on the floor, Lawn said.
Nov. 27, 11:36 a.m.: The owner of a 2008 Nissan Versa found that the rear window and a brake light were broken, Lawn said. The owner suspects a bat or another long blunt object was used.
Nov. 27, 12:26 p.m.: A 2005 Ford Focus was stolen overnight from Maplewood Street, Lawn said. The car was found later in Mattapan, and had been completely stripped. A GPS device and a laptop were also missing.
Nov. 27, 1:34 p.m.: A window was broken in a house on Whitney Street, Lawn said. A large rock was found in the living room.
