Watertown Police Seek a Man who Damaged Cars Outside Target

Police seek a man caught on security video scratching cars in the Watertown Mall parking lot.

A woman reported that her car had been scratched on Jan. 28 while she was shopping at Target.

"When she came out she noticed a deep scratch over the top of her trunk," said Watertown Police Lt. Michael Lawn.

She went back into the store and Target security had footage at about 10:15 a.m. on Jan. 28 showing a man leaving the store and then appeared to vandalize other vehicles in the parking lot, Lawn said.

The man is described as an Asian male, Lawn said.
