Police Seek Couple with Dog in Connection with Apartment Break-ins

Security cameras have caught images of the suspects in 13 burglaries in Watertown since September.


Watertown Police seek a man and woman with a dog who are suspected of breaking into apartments within multi-story buildings in town.

Since September 2011, there have been 13 apartment, some of which involved doors being pried open.

The suspects are a male and female team with a small dog. The dog has been spotted in security footage in the last three break-ins, Watertown Police said

In four of the incidents, the burglars broke in using a combination of prying tools and shouldering the door, according to Watertown Police. This has damages the door locks, deadbolts and in some cases the hinges, door frames and drywall.

The suspects may be driving a Buick-type station wagon, police said, but it has not been captured on video.
